Rowcon Group is an established concrete recycling & Waste Management company with a strong reputation for service delivery and quality within the Sunshine Coast region. We are experiencing rapid growth, and more recently have expanded our operations into full service, construction & demolition waste collection and recovery, complimented by our new state of the art sorting facility.

Rowcon is seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to join our team in Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast. The role requires you to be a confident leader with a strong commitment to safety, quality, production efficiencies, and customer service. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring that business and financial objectives are effectively executed and achieved. This role encompasses all aspects of operations, including business planning, customer relations, asset and personnel management, financial oversight, and adherence to policies and procedures (including health and safety regulations).

About You

Candidates should possess a background in recycling, quarrying, or waste management, with strong supervisory and managerial experience. A clear understanding of operational requirements such as equipment utilisation, mobile plant and equipment maintenance, and general recycled product knowledge is essential. Your industry proven financial acumen will also be essential in meeting budgeting requirements, including cost controls and work scheduling. Applicants must be proficient in front-end loader and excavator operations supported with a strong background in crushing and screening, materials separation and quality controls.
