A fantastic opportunity has become available for a professional, experienced candidate to join Local Mix in the role as a Quarry Operations Manager.

This is a critical senior role within the company to provide great management and good leadership for our quarry team.

Key responsibilities will involve:

Implementing an innovative, healthy, and safe work environment for our staff,

Great relationships with our suppliers and customers,

Reviewing, improving, and monitoring policies and procedures to ensure Quality, OHS, Environmental and HR compliance;

Managing critical processes for hard rock and sand quarry operations,

Oversee day to day running of sites and quarry employees,

Reporting to the Quarry General Manager

The ideal candidate for this position will demonstrate extensive experience in the fields of overburden removal, drill & blasting, crushing, screening and mobile earth moving equipment.

We are a family-run business and have a small professional management team. We have several sites that involve transport, heavy equipment, quarrying, and concrete production.
