Our client is a very well established Construction company who has been operating across Queensland for over 40 years. Their projects are getting larger and this one is the largest they have built in South East Queensland and is a $120m mixed use commercial and residential building in Milton.

The project team consists of an established and long term Project Manager, Senior Site Manager (you), Structures and Finishes Foremen, HSE Advisor, Project Engineer and CA's.

The ideal Senior Site Manager has delivered high rise residential or commercial projects before and has the ability to lead a team and manage a site effectively. This is a non EBA site but is big enough to get some attention so industrial relations (IR) on site will be largely in your hands, therefor your ability to manage expectations and ensure OHS obligations will be important.

The culture that has been built throughout the business is outstanding and we are looking for someone who can continue to build on this and even enhance the environment.

Role:

The Senior Site Manager has the following specific areas of responsibility:

• Management of trades and subcontractors on site
• Coordination of all site logistics, material delivery and resource allocation
• Implementation of OH&S policies
• Ensuring adherence to plans and specifications
• Approval of subcontractor invoices
• Liaison with Project Manager to ensure budget and time constraints are met
• Industrial relations management
• Provide leadership to the site team
• Long and Short term programming

Person:

• A stable career history within the construction industry
• High rise residential experience
• Strong construction foreman or Site Management experience with a reputable company would be an advantage
• The ability to work to and meet deadlines
• Well organised, strong work ethic, enthusiastic, motivated, honest, high level of integrity
