This is your opportunity to join a well-established national Registered Training Organisation (RTO) delivering impactful learning solutions to corporate, government, and enterprise clients.
We’re growing—and looking for a confident, strategic, and consultative Business Development Manager / Education Consultant to join our clients dynamic team.
The Role
This role is not your typical inbound sales gig. While you’ll benefit from a database of over 1,500 warm and dormant leads, marketing support, and CRM tools, your success will stem from your ability to proactively generate new business. This role demands an ambitious self-starter—someone who thrives on finding and closing new opportunities through strategic outreach, insight, and industry connections.
You'll be promoting a suite of high-quality, nationally and internationally recognised training programs tailored to deliver real results for clients.
Key Responsibilities
Re-engage warm and dormant leads to convert interest into revenue.
Actively seek and secure new business across corporate, government, and enterprise sectors.
Conduct discovery calls, develop tailored proposals, and close high-value deals.
Promote a diverse portfolio of qualifications and short courses in:
Project Management
Leadership & Management
Change Management
Capability Uplift and Workforce Development
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless client onboarding and training outcomes.
Contribute to marketing initiatives such as LinkedIn campaigns, email outreach, and digital promotions.
Maintain accurate records in CRM and prepare monthly sales reports.

$90,000 base salary + up to $60,000 commission (OTE $150K+)

About You
Proven experience in B2B sales—ideally in education, RTOs, or professional services
Strong consultative and relationship-building skills
Comfortable working autonomously and meeting KPIs
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proficient with CRMs, LinkedIn, and digital sales tools
Location & Hours
Hybrid preferred – 3+ days/week at North Sydney HQ
Remote considered based on experience and performance
8:30am–5:00pm, Monday to Friday
Occasional interstate travel may be required for key meetings and expos
