Are you a proactive and detail-oriented leader ready to take the next step in your customer service career? Our client, a well-established and highly regarded business is seeking a Customer Service Team Leader to join their team in Melbourne. We are looking for a high-performing customer service professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy, process improvement and team development. You’ll lead a small, dedicated Customer Service team, and play a key role in driving operational excellence, managing key accounts, and ensuring timely and accurate processing of sales orders. Acting as 2IC to the National Customer Service Manager, you will also contribute to training, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily sales order processing, including key account management and container logistics
• Support and train team members to ensure high performance and consistency
• Maintain accurate records and compliance across internal systems (SAP experience advantageous)
• Handle escalated customer enquiries and complex account issues with empathy and efficiency
• Liaise with internal departments including Sales, Credit, Logistics and Warehouse
• Champion accuracy and efficiency in all customer interactions and team processes

About You:
• Previous experience in a senior customer service or team leadership role is essential
• Exceptional attention to detail – a must-have for success in this position
• Strong administrative and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise under pressure
• Proficient communicator – clear, concise and professional across all channels
• Proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement
• A positive, team-oriented approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
