About the role

Complete ENT Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Patient Services Officer (Medical Secretary) to join our team in our Brisbane, QLD 4000 office. In this role, you will be responsible for providing outstanding administrative and customer service support to our medical professionals and patients.

What you'll be doing

Answering and managing incoming phone calls, emails and enquiries from patients in a professional and courteous manner

Scheduling and managing patient appointments and maintaining accurate patient records

Theatre bookings and liaison

Correspondence and patient enquiries

Billing and receipting

Maintaining a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive patient information

Assisting with the coordination of patient flow and clinic operations

What we're looking for

Proven experience gained over at least two years in a medical secretary or administrative support role within a healthcare or medical environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with patients, clinicians and other stakeholders

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

Proficient in using medical software and Microsoft Office applications

A demonstrated understanding of medical terminology and procedures

A compassionate and empathetic approach when dealing with patients
