Your new role

As a Customer Service Officer, you'll play a vital role in supporting the Queensland State Manager and ensuring seamless operations. This role focusses on exceptional customer service, sales development, and efficient administrative tasks. You will engage directly with customers, solve queries, process orders, and assist with sales growth through cold calling and lead generation. Collaboration and communication will be your key tools to succeed!
Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional service to internal and external customers via phone and email.
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain clear and thorough records of interactions and transactions.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth communication and customer satisfaction.
  • Research potential prospects, generate leads, and cold-call new and lapsed customers to drive sales growth.
  • Prepare proposals and quotes for clients.
  • Support the State Manager with administrative tasks and stock-taking activities.
  • Contribute to team meetings, training, and collaborative efforts.

What you'll need to succeed

  • At least 2 years of experience in a sales support or sales operations role.
  • A customer-first mindset, with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management, planning, and organisational abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) and experience using business systems.
  • A professional attitude, proactive approach, and dedication to achieving team goals.
