The Senior Events Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the planning, development, delivery and evaluation of events for Multicultural Affairs, Department of the Premier and Cabinet (DPC), including festivals, awards, launches and announcements, and engagement events, as well as online events. The role also contributes to the development and implementation of proactive communication, event management, and social media strategies, media opportunities and activations, and associated activities, for Multicultural Affairs

The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Management Program. The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent. Some work outside of normal hours will be required. This role requires a National Criminal History check.
