Events Coordinator – Western Suburbs

Are you an organised and proactive Events Coordinator looking for an exciting opportunity? Our client is seeking a skilled professional to take charge of event planning and execution, working closely with the marketing and administrative support staff, as well as the our Client's Executive Team.

About the Role

As the Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for the overall organisation of events, ensuring seamless execution and acting as the key liaison between event leads and all logistical aspects. You will play a vital role in fostering a vibrant and engaging event culture within our Education client.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate all aspects of our Education clients events, including logistics, design, administration, and catering, in collaboration with the event lead.

Lead and assist the team in event setup and pack down.

Support the organisation of student transition events, meetings, and small functions.

Assist in planning and executing our Education client's celebrations throughout the year.

Operate within the Marketing team to support its mission and objectives.

Promote a strong culture of child safety within our Education client community.

Demonstrate flexibility with working hours to accommodate event requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Demonstrated experience in event coordination, preferably within an education or community-based setting.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.

Proven ability to lead a team and work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

High attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Understanding of Occupational Health and Safety policies in an event context.

Commitment to fostering an inclusive and safe environment for students and staff.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required (adhoc)
