About the Role:

We're on the lookout for an exceptional Events and Marketing Coordinator to join our passionate team. Reporting to the Head of Membership and Engagement, you'll be the driving force behind the events strategy, developing our face-to-face and virtual events, ensuring each one is a memorable success. If you're a hands-on professional with a knack for creativity and a 'can-do' attitude, this role offers a thrilling opportunity to grow your career in event management. Experience in running end to end events and promoting events is a must! An interest/background in marketing is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, promote and deliver all NECA Victoria Events & Webinars from gala dinners (750 attendees) to intimate masterclasses and webinars

Manage event/webinar logistics, registrations, and pre/post event coordination.

Conduct event research, administration, and engage with event suppliers to ensure seamless execution.

Negotiate agreements, contracts, and delivery deadlines with event suppliers and sponsors.

Host webinars and online events, ensuring engaging and informative sessions.

Coordinate travel arrangements and staff responsibilities for each event.

Act as the primary liaison with sponsors and stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and maintaining excellent communication throughout the event lifecycle.

About You:

Minimum 4 years' experience in coordinating events of both small and large scale with limited budgets

Experience in strategic planning and development

Experience in using humanitix, powerpoint, and higher logic

Strong administration skills with a keen eye for detail.

Organised, able to work to tight deadlines, and still have fun!

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience in development of marketing plans and communication for events.

Proactive with a strong initiative to improve processes and outcomes.

Willingness to learn, grow, and support the team.

Most importantly, a positive, creative, and can-do attitude!
