Our NSW Government client is hiring for a highly capable Salesforce Tester to join the organisation. Working on a wider Salesforce Digital Hub platform, that deals with grants and financial management, this role will form an integral part of the team and contribute to tech leadership decisions. Role Title: Salesforce Tester

Contract Length: ASAP to the 31st of December, chance of extending from there.

Daily Pay: Up to $800+ Super per day.

Location: Parramatta (2150). Office/WFH Hybrid, 3 days per week in office and 2 days from home.

Role Requirements:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive automated test suites for Salesforce applications (Salesforce Public Sector Solution, Education Cloud).
• Translate Functional Requirements and Business Requirements Specification into Test cases.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive testing strategy that includes both automation and manual testing for the Salesforce program.
• Define the scope and approach for functional, integration, and data migration testing.
• Drive continuous improvements in testing processes and methodologies.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to testing activities.
• Perform all test management activities.
• Conduct all aspects of test verification activities, including system/integration testing, functional testing, and regression testing.
• Produce and analyse test reports and results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective test automation strategies.
• Implement and optimize automated testing frameworks, tools, and scripts to improve efficiency and coverage.

Knowledge and Experience:

• 8+ years of testing experience in Salesforce applications, preferably in Salesforce Public Sector Solutions, Education Cloud, and Services Cloud.
• Experience in building and executing automated test regimes as part of a DevOps team using CI/CD methodologies.
• Expert proficiency with UI functional automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver and BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
• Experience using continuous integration tools such as Jenkins and Bamboo and building automation test pipelines.
• Strong experience in test planning, test execution, management of defects, and test reports.
• Solid understanding of customizable features built into Salesforce solutions.
• Deep experience working with Apex programming.
