Our client is a large Government organisation who are seeking a Salesforce Tester to join their team.

In this role, you will conduct all aspects of test verification activities, including system/integration testing, functional testing, and regression testing. Produce and analyze test reports and results. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective test automation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain comprehensive automated test suites for Salesforce applications (Salesforce Public Sector Solution, Education Cloud).
   
2. Translate Functional Requirements and Business Requirements Specification into Test cases.
   
3. Develop and execute a comprehensive testing strategy that includes both automation and manual testing for the Salesforce program.
   
4. Define the scope and approach for functional, integration, and data migration testing.
   
5. Drive continuous improvements in testing processes and methodologies.
   
6. Identify and mitigate risks related to testing activities.
   

Selection Criteria:

1. Extensive testing experience in Salesforce applications, (preferably in Salesforce Public Sector Solutions, Education Cloud, and Services Cloud)
   
2. Experience in building and executing automated test regimes as part of a DevOps team using CI/CD methodologies.
   
3. Expert proficiency with UI functional automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver and BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
   
4. Experience using continuous integration tools such as Jenkins and Bamboo and building automation test pipelines.
   
5. Strong experience in test planning, test execution, management of defects, and test reports.
   
6. Solid understanding of customizable features built into Salesforce solutions.
   
7. Deep experience working with Apex programming.
