The Role:

Operations Manager at de Jonge Read is a key role within our leadership team ensuring our firm achieves the best outcomes for our clients. Our Operations Team work from a combination of our Brisbane Head Office, their home offices locally or for some team members, their home offices in Indonesia.

We are seeking a highly skilled leader who can consistently deliver the key accountabilities for this role including:

Team Leadership & Management: Leading your team of operations support staff, providing coaching, guidance, training, and performance evaluation

Process Coordination: Coordinating file assignments, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely resolution of files

Overseeing Case Administration: Ensuring that the team are managing files efficiently and in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

Stakeholder Communication: Ensuring your team liaise with stakeholders to facilitate effective communication, negotiation and resolution of issues

Record Maintenance: Ensuring your team maintain accurate records and detailed notes on client files

Operational Efficiency: Implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and team effectiveness

Compliance Assurance: Ensuring your team and files adhere to relevant financial regulations and company policies

The Person

Your background includes experience in professional services such as insolvency, accounting, law or other business setting where leading and developing teams to manage files and projects is paramount. A degree or qualification in a relevant discipline is essential. We also welcome interest from people with practical, hands-on experience in an insolvency firm who are looking for a change but want to stay within the industry.

You will succeed, grow and excel in this role if you possess:

Strong leadership skills and experience in managing a team

Exceptional organisational skills with strong attention to detail

Excellent verbal and written communication

Ability to multi-task, work independently but also part of the team

Handle competing deadlines with the ability to prioritise
