Privately held company with over $100m revenue, hundreds of staff, impressive manufacturing plant and multi-state operations, you'll help drive the next wave of growth. Featuring a new executive team post Private Equity purchase of the business the focus is now on driving expansion, margins, process improvements. New roles and investments are being made to support the next wave of growth.

Your New Role
Reporting directly to the GM Commercial and indirectly supporting the CFO, you will slot right into the corporate office to begin to provide decision support across the group. You will develop financial models, forecasting (by product and by regions), and provide finance business partnering for operational and commercial leadership. You will use both the company's proprietary software, MS excel and PowerBI to produce your compelling and insightful reports and analysis. In addition to the forward looking aspects, you may also assist in financial reporting, compliance, month end, supporting the finance manager and accounts team from time to time. Including monthly reporting, variance analysis, and periodic budgeting/forecasting processes.

Your Profile
Well this is the exciting piece of the puzzle! You could have one of two backgrounds and be successful appointed. Firstly, you may already be working in a similar role and ready to bring your skills and experience to a new organisation. Secondly, you may be more of a financial/technical accountant who is keen to go beyond and into management accounting and financial analysis. Both backgrounds can be accommodated!

At minimum you will have a CA/CPA/CIMA qualification, exposure to manufacturing, heavy industry, or related asset insensitive field with inventory concerns. You are a confident presenter of reports, able to communicate effectively and influence senior leaders who are experts in their craft in layman's terms. You practice continuous improvement, always looking for a better way of operating and challenge the status quo - respectfully. Analysis isn't your middle name, but it could be!

You don't mind working in an informal, industrial/blue collar environment where the focus is values and what you bring to the organisation as a person and employee. You are a team player with numerous examples of collaboration and working well to deliver on positive outcomes.
