We are partnering with a leading organisation in Melbourne seeking a highly capable Financial Analyst with a blend of Big 6 experience and commercial acumen. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about using data to drive strategic decision-making.

About the Role: This role sits within a high-performing finance team and will play a key part in delivering high-quality analysis, forecasting, and reporting to support commercial decisions across the business. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, providing deep insights and recommendations to improve performance, optimise operations, and support growth strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with large, complex data sets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Deliver high-quality financial analysis and commercial reporting across business units
• Develop robust financial models to support business cases and investment decisions
• Partner with operations and executive leadership to provide insight into business performance
• Prepare and present monthly management reports, dashboards, and KPIs
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes
• Drive process improvements and efficiencies across reporting and analytics
• Support ad hoc strategic projects and financial deep-dives

About You:

• 5+ years’ experience in a Financial Analyst or Commercial Analyst role
• Background in Big 4 (audit, transaction services, corporate finance) and exposure to commercial/industry environments
• Strong technical capability in financial modelling, analysis, and reporting
• Proven ability to interpret data, communicate insights, and influence decision-makers
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is highly desirable
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• CA/CPA qualified or equivalent
