About the Role

A Keolis Downer head office role reporting to the Financial Controller, the Financial Analyst will manage the day-to-day accounting functions of two Keolis Downer head office entities and provide support and analysis to the Financial Controller during the preparation of the Group financial reports, management reports and budget.

The Role will be responsible for

At Holding level:

· Managing the month-end close of 2 Keolis Downer holding entities.

· Process payments and oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable of the holding entities.

· Prepare the payroll instructions and review monthly payroll.

· Support and review the preparation of tax obligations with external consultants.

· Review and process employee expense claims.

At Group level:

· Responsible for consolidating and reporting on the major investments at Group level.

· Provide support to consolidate data and provide commentary and analysis during the budgeting process.

· Provide support during the preparation of the consolidated financial statements.

· Coordinate and facilitate projects initiated by parent company entity in France and implementation of group policies.

· Assist the financial controller on additional analysis and compliance tasks.

Our Ideal Candidate

Do you like the idea of a role that combines a passion for finance and numbers with people? Our ideal candidate will have a relevant tertiary qualification in accounting/business/finance. They would have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in general accounting or management accounting as well as experience in financial data analysis. We are looking for someone who pays attention to detail and the ability to present complex arguments coherently, concisely and persuasively.

You will have strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement capabilities, and a continuous improvement attitude, always looking for ways to improve on current processes and performance.
