Now with Australian operations in full swing, we require the services of an experienced Business Analyst to join the centralised financial planning and analysis team in Sydney.

About the Role:

As a Business Analyst, you will provide high quality financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and reporting, to support 1Komma5 APAC's business plans. The role will assist in ensuring strategic projects are appropriately analyzed, achievable and beneficial to the company from a financial persepective. This role would suit a hungry and savvy analyst, looking to join modern, progressive enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Analysis and Reporting:

• Provide detailed analysis and guidance to the Finance, Operational and Strategic Projects teams as needed.
• Develop financial data for corporate plans on consolidated basis, maintain financial models and assist with the development of the budget to support the Company’s business plans and clear communication of the plans.
• Assist with preparing for internal governance/approval meetings as needed.
• Take lead to collect required data from each function for Monthly Performance Review reporting and analyze the monthly financial results in comparison to the plan.
• Identify areas of improvement and provide guidance and suggestions to the team accordingly.

1. Finance:

• Assist in the development of consolidated financials after each Company’s trial balances are closed at the end of each month.

1. CFO Support:

• Provide support to the CFO as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Business, Commerce or Economics
• 2-4 years prior experience in finance, planning, audit and/or strategy
• Experience in financial modelling and analysis
• Expert level skills in Excel
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Experience in investment banking, accounting and financial reporting would be highly regarded
