About the Role

As Factory Manager, you’ll be responsible for the daily running of our workshop—managing production, leading the team, improving processes, and upholding quality and safety standards. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong technical knowledge, team management experience, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate daily factory operations to meet production targets

Lead, mentor, and support workshop staff, including conducting toolbox meetings and performance reviews

Maintain quality control and ensure compliance with safety regulations

Manage and maintain workshop equipment, tools, and facilities

Coordinate supply chain activities and maintain inventory levels

Work closely with clients to ensure project requirements are met

Prepare production reports and identify opportunities for process improvement

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree, diploma or trade certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.

Minimum of 15 years of experience in a manufacturing or mechanical workshop environment.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a supervisory or managerial role required.

Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering processes, tools, and machinery.

Proven ability to lead teams and manage production schedules effectively.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Strong understanding of workplace safety and compliance regulations.

Proficiency in using manufacturing software and ERP systems
