Freedom Retractable Screens Victoria are an industry leader in retrofit retractable fly screens with over 70 years of combined experience customising & installing doors throughout the greater Melbourne & Victoria region.

Our factory is based in Carrum Downs. We are a fast growing team, all of whom pride themselves on the quality of work we produce.

We have experienced year on year growth over the past 10 years and now have more jobs in the pipeline than ever before and now expanding our business to focus on the manufacturing of screens.

About the role

Overseeing the manufacturing operation at our Carrum Downs factory

Implementing improved manufacturing workflows and systems

Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations

Managing recruitment of the production team

Stock management and liaising with suppliers

Have a keen eye for quality control and process improvement

Basic administration & data entry

Assisting with the production of screens when required

Working closely with existing administration team and management

This role is for a factory production manager with good attention to detail who also likes to be hands on in the production process.

Factory management experience

Production & Manufacturing experience

Excellent organisation and time management skills

Able to manage a team independently

Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite (Particularly Outlook & Excel)

Good problem solving skills

Multi level thinking, must be able to think outside the box

Great communication skills

Experience with Retractable Fly Screens is advantageous
