About the role

Discover Early Learning, a well-respected early childhood education provider, is seeking a passionate and experienced Room Leader to join their team in Kelmscott, WA. This is a full time opportunity to lead a team of educators and shape the learning and development of young children.

What you'll be doing

Lead and mentor a team of dedicated early childhood educators

Develop and implement engaging, high-quality educational programs that promote the holistic development of children

Ensure a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment

Build positive relationships with children, families and the wider community

Maintain thorough documentation and comply with all relevant regulations and policies

Contribute to the continuous improvement of the centre's operations

What we're looking for

A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field or

A Diploma in Early Childhood Education

Minimum 2 years' experience as a Room Leader or Senior Educator in a childcare setting

Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of educators

Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of young children
