About the role

As the Kindy Room Leader/ECT/Educational Leader at Little Bright Explorers', you will play a pivotal role in shaping the learning and development of our youngest students. This full-time position is based in our Como, WA 6152 location, and you will be responsible for leading our Kindy room, providing high-quality early childhood education and care.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and implement engaging, play-based educational programs that cater to the unique needs and interests of our Kindy students
• Collaborate with the teaching team to plan, deliver and evaluate curriculum in line with the Early Years Learning Framework
• Foster a nurturing, inclusive environment that promotes children's wellbeing, independence and a love of learning
• Observe, document and assess children's learning and development, and use this information to inform future planning
• Build positive relationships with children, families and the wider community
• Mentor and support other educators in the room, acting as an educational leader
• Ensure all childcare policies, procedures and regulations are upheld

What we're looking for

• Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification
• Registered or eligible for registration as an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) in WA
• Proven experience as a Kindy Room Leader or in a similar educational leadership role
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues
• A deep understanding of child development, the Early Years Learning Framework and best-practice early childhood pedagogy
• Demonstrated ability to create engaging, play-based learning experiences that support children's holistic development
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Passion for making a positive difference in the lives of young children
