The Gallipoli Medical Research (GMR) is a world-class research facility located at the Greenslopes Private Hospital in Brisbane, Queensland. GMR supports and facilitates innovative research in human health and wellbeing. GMR is closely affiliated with the University of Queensland.

Clinical Trials Unit

Our clinical trials unit coordinates multi-centre international clinical trials primarily in the disease indications of oncology, respiratory and liver disease evaluating potential treatments that are in the various stages of development. The appointee will be responsible for the coordination and performance of assigned clinical trials within the unit.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced full time 12 month Parental Leave Clinical Trials Start-Up Specialist to join our existing Clinical Trials Unit. The role will support the Clinical Trials Unit Manager (Operations) in all administrative and financial aspects of the clinical trial activities.

Your Application

The ideal candidate will essentially have:

A suitable qualified health science graduate or equivalent

1+ years Clinical Trials experience

Accurate data management including data entry, data extraction (lists, reports etc.) within a database system.

Analytical capability and ability to apply strategic thinking to financial data input, reporting and analysis

Demonstrated advanced proficiency in Microsoft suite including Excel and Word with excellent attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills with demonstrated time management skills and ability to work to deadlines.

The following attributes would be highly desirable:

Start-up Clinical Trials Finance experience including clinical trial management system (CTMS)
