About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and customer-focused individual to join our client as a Product Support person. You will be the first point of contact for customers, providing essential telephone sales support, processing orders, and managing inquiries. This role also involves vital sales administration and stock control functions, contributing to the overall efficiency of the branch.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive telephone sales support, including the promotion, sale, and computer processing of Ground Engaging Tools and Replacement Parts.
Handle customer inquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Efficiently process all customer orders received, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Utilize the company's CRM system to accurately record sales activities and customer information.
Coordinate the dispatch of goods using appropriate transport within agreed timeframes.
Process warranty claims and credits according to company procedures.
Manage customer backorders effectively.
Assist Product Support Representatives in prospecting new accounts.
Assist in regular stock ordering and source products for special customer orders.
Perform general sales administration duties, including maintaining office tidiness, assisting branch staff, and processing supplier invoices.
Accurately process and account for all monies received.
Maintain organized files and company records.
Prepare and submit monthly expense reimbursement reports.
Contribute to the company's environmental goals by reducing waste and conserving resources.
Participate in stock takes and provide support to other company personnel as required.
Engage in training programs and stay updated with industry technology.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
A strong understanding of telephone sales and support techniques, ideally within an industrial products environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A customer-focused, self-motivated, and proactive approach.
Strong computer literacy.
The ability and willingness to learn and develop.
An appreciation of administrative functions within a medium-sized organization.
A working knowledge of Quality Assurance (advantageous).
Stores duties experience (advantageous).
