The role we're hiring for is for a Junior Web UI/UX designer to support our Senior UI/UX designer.

This role is a combination of consulting to clients and co-ordinating with front-end developers. You'll be guiding your clients through UI/UX website design, and delivering beautiful and inclusive designs.

What a day looks like in this role:

· Catch up with your team and manager to chat about the day ahead and discuss anything you need a hand with

· Review your calendar, emails, meetings and tasks, and finalise you plan for the day

· Provide consultations to clients in relation to website designs and participate in UI/UX discovery sessions

· Liaise with your design and implementation team for the design and implementation of website projects

· Keep meticulous notes on your clients and your interactions with them

· Reach out to clients to get them across the line for a design they’re proud of

· Support the Customer Care team with design related questions, and assist in scoping design work for websites

· Jump on board with innovating how we do things - we're a collaborative crew, and everyone has a voice here

What do you need to bring to the role?

We hire primarily on attitude and personality. We will teach you how we operate, and show you the ropes. What we need from you:

· You've most likely been in a design role and looking to expand your horizon in terms of responsibilities.

· You possess skills in the Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch and more

· You have an awesome design portfolio

· You understand that design can be emotive for business owners, and you are able to work with clients to achieve their aesthetic vision

· You're a self-starter. You don't need to be told to do anything twice, and don't require micromanagement

This role is a full-time role with hybrid working arrangement. Usually 2 days a week in our South Melbourne office after induction.

We're open to great people, not necessarily just experience. The package on offer is is $50 - $70K, dependent on your abilities and experience. This is a career path not just a job.

Permanent full time, Monday to Friday, 9AM-5PM, occasional after-hours work required to liaise with overseas team members.

Permanent residency/citizenship is a requirement.
