ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Senior Web Developer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and has a proven track record of managing multiple web projects from concept to completion.

You’re methodical, highly organised, and have meticulous attention to detail. Clear communication and excellent time management come naturally to you. With your technical expertise and creative insight, you'll work closely with both our clients and internal team, helping shape and deliver web solutions that are functional, scalable, and visually impressive.

Headless WordPress development experience is essential for this role, along with the ability to work autonomously while collaborating seamlessly with our designers, project managers, and leadership team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage multiple website projects from design through to deployment

Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to bring ideas to life

Implement headless WordPress development and best practices

Deliver responsive, accessible, and SEO-friendly builds

Communicate effectively with clients and manage expectations

Work closely with project managers and developers to ensure deadlines are met

Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance on all deliverables

You will ideally have experience in a client-facing role and feel comfortable working with clients at various stages of planning and ideation and can produce design concepts for clients. You are adaptive to feedback and work well with WeOracle’s digital specialists and management.

ABOUT YOU

7+ years of experience in web development, across a variety of project types

Proficient in WordPress (including headless architecture), HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP

Strong understanding of modern frameworks and build tools

Skilled in responsive design and accessibility best practices

Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset

Confident in client-facing settings and presenting technical concepts

Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing your workload

Strong grammatical and written communication skills

A strategic thinker with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly

Adept at balancing visually beautiful design with functional, user-friendly experiences

Solid knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)

Familiarity with responsive grid systems and best practices for mobile-friendly design

Obsessed with pixel-perfect execution and delivering high-quality work

A self-motivated attitude and a genuine passion for learning and improvement

Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
