Senior Web Designer (Multilingual UX Specialist)

Full-time | $77K–$80K + Super

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Web Designer with a strong background in multilingual UX/UI design, particularly for Farsi-English platforms, to join our team in delivering scalable, accessible, and visually engaging digital experiences. The ideal candidate must possess advanced front-end design skills, familiarity with accessibility compliance, and the ability to work within custom CMS environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design user interfaces and experiences for responsive, bilingual (LTR and RTL) web platforms targeting English and Farsi-speaking users

Translate wireframes and user journey maps into high-fidelity UI designs using Figma or Adobe XD

Collaborate with developers to integrate designs into custom-built CMS platforms (e.g., Laravel-based), ensuring visual and functional alignment

Create scalable and maintainable UI architecture using BEM methodology, SCSS/SASS, and vanilla JavaScript

Implement micro-interactions and smooth UI animations using GSAP, ensuring visual clarity and performance

Ensure full WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility compliance, including keyboard navigation, color contrast, and ARIA support

Conduct user research and bilingual usability testing; synthesize data into actionable design improvements

Produce branded graphic assets, such as banners, icons, illustrations, and UI imagery in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

Optimize design elements for SEO performance, Core Web Vitals, and mobile-first responsiveness

Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodology, Jira, and Confluence for task tracking and documentation

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in UI/UX design for responsive websites

At least 3 years working with multilingual or RTL web projects (Farsi required)

Demonstrated experience in custom CMS design and integration, preferably Laravel or similar frameworks

Strong knowledge of front-end technologies: HTML5, SCSS, JavaScript

Expertise in animation tools and libraries (e.g., GSAP, CSS transitions) for enhancing UX

Proficient in design tools: Figma, Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop

Solid understanding of WCAG 2.1 standards, usability best practices, and accessibility in web design

Experience conducting bilingual UX testing and interpreting results for iterative improvements

Familiarity with SEO-optimized design, Core Web Vitals, and structured data principles

Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, Agile team environment
