About the Role

This role combines front-end development and UI design, working in agile teams to create user-centric digital solutions. You'll design, prototype, and implement interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks like ReactJS and Angular, ensuring usability and accessibility through rapid testing and iteration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop user interfaces, user flows, and features
• Iterate on designs based on user feedback to improve usability
• Create high-fidelity prototypes, wireframes, and user specifications
• Implement UI components using HTML/CSS and JavaScript
• Collaborate with developers to translate designs into high-quality code
• Advocate for user-centric solutions and coach back-end engineers on front-end usability

Skills & Experience

• Strong experience designing UI using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks
• Proficiency in ReactJS or Angular, following style guides/design systems
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders
• Experience translating usability testing findings into design improvements
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards and guidelines
• Ability to rapidly prototype, test, and iterate on designs

Australian Citizenship & the ability to obtain Baseline security clearance is a mandatory requirement for this position.
