The Role
This is a hands-on accounting role supporting the financial operations of a diverse property portfolio. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in ensuring compliance, accuracy, and transparency across trust accounting, reconciliations, and investor reporting. This role would suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to grow within a supportive and professional team.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily trust account operations, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all transactions
• Perform financial reconciliations including bank, accounts, and inter-company transfers
• Prepare monthly financial reports, journals, and assist with portfolio performance insights
• Support development team with job costing and monthly claims
• Issue accurate tenant and development billings on a monthly basis
• Manage accounts payable including vendor management and weekly payment runs
• Handle investor relations including monthly distributions and quarterly updates
• Prepare and lodge monthly and quarterly BAS statements

The Candidate

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to financial accuracy
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in Xero and MYOB essential; experience with Yardi Voyager highly advantageous
• A proactive and collaborative approach with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
