Happs Wines & Commonage Pottery based in Dunsborough WA is a family-owned and run winery and pottery. We are seeking a versatile and experienced People and Accounts Manager to join our collaborative team.

This diverse role involves accounts management (bookkeeping, accounts receivable and payable, BAS, insurance, governance), people management (payroll, contracts, policies, WHS), and basic IT support (troubleshooting, liaising with providers).

We are looking for the following:

Key Requirements:

Previous bookkeeping/accounting experience

Strong administration and time management skills and MS Office proficiency

Experience with business software (e.g., accounting, CRM, PoS, inventory systems)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Understanding of safe work practices

A National Police Clearance not older than 3 months

Work Rights in Australia

Desired Skills:

HR and WHS management

Familiarity with Xero, Employment Hero, Shopify, Vinsight

Experience in a small to medium-sized business

Priority will be given to applicants with a strong accounting / bookkeeping background

Start Date: April 2025
