Our client is currently seeking a full-time Accounts Officer to join their team for a 6-month contract, with the possibility to go permanent after completion of the initial contract period. Your new role

Working in the Northern Gold Coast office and reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:

• End-to-end accounts payable
• Full function accounts receivables
• Month-end duties and responsibilities
• Payroll management
• Subcontractor management
• Dealing with both internal and external stakeholders
• General office administration
• Other adhoc duties as required

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful for this role, you need to have:

• Minimum 5 years experience in Accounts
• Relevant degree or qualification (preferred)
• Experience with general administration and subcontractor management
• People management skills
• Great understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll processes
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounting software (e.g. SAP)
• Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly excel
• Ability to work well within a team and autonomously
