Pay Rate: $65–$75 per hour

About the Role PSG are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join a dynamic ASX-listed mining company on a 4–6 month contract. This role is based in Perth's northern suburbs/inner city, with occasional site travel (3 days per month). The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded accounting professional with strong technical skills, able to manage the full spectrum of financial responsibilities within a fast-paced mining environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Prepare balance sheet and P&L reconciliations
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
• Provide financial insights and reporting to support business decision-making
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies
• Support ad hoc financial analysis and process improvement initiatives

About You

• Qualified Accountant (CA/CPA/CIMA) or equivalent experience
• Strong experience in management accounting, with exposure to the mining/resources sector preferred
• Proficiency in month-end reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, and forecasting
• Ability to work independently and liaise with stakeholders at various levels
• Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (e.g., Pronto, SAP, or similar)
• Available for an immediate start
