The IGA Local Grocer South of the River is seeking a highly motivated and experienced DUTY Manager to join our team. As the Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store, this is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in ensuring the store runs efficiently and provides an exceptional customer experience.

Oversee all store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and loss prevention

Accountable for Coaching and Lead stock replenishment team.

Step up and run the store whilst the Store Manager is on leave.

What we're looking for

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a retail management role, preferably in the grocery or food retail industry

Must be available to work in the afternoon until closing 9pm! days will be discussed during the interview

Be Friendly, Trustworthy, Reliable and Responsible

Flexibility to work in different Departments such as the shop floor, checkout, top up Fresh departments

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic thinking abilities

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with both internal and external stakeholders

A team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement
