About the opportunity
The Faculty of Medicine and Health is seeking expressions of interest from eligible, internal candidates for a secondment or fixed term appointment in their education team. As the University adapts its assessment approach for AI in learning, the Project Coordinator will support transition of units of study in time for semester 2. In addition to this, the Project Officer will work on other projects, including refining and embedding the protocols around the design of new Degree programs for the Faculty of Medicine and Health.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- coordinate the collation and preparation of project data and information, ensuring that relevant resources and documentation are readily available for project teams
- carry out operational project management support activities to contribute to the planning and establishment of projects
- facilitate clear understanding and alignment of project objectives and processes among project team members
- coordinate work stream project plans
- monitor project activity, deliverables, and milestones to keep the project on track
- develop and maintain productive relationships with professional and academic project stakeholders
- assist in project financial management, including budget monitoring, preparation of financial reports, and identifying potential financial concerns.
About you
- experienced project coordinator or strong administrative organiser with a background understanding of curriculum and assessments
- understanding of education policy and compliance environment in higher education
- ability to develop positive and productive working relationships with academic and professional staff cohorts to achieve business outcomes
- able to commit to 4 days in the office and one day remote working
- ability to work effectively in a fast paced and high-volume environment.
