Our Australian/NZ headquarters is located in a beautiful showroom close to public transport in Neutral Bay. This is also the HQ of our associate business - Australian Waxing Company - (www.auswax.com.au) which, for over 30 years, has been a provider of products and training courses to beauty salons as well having a strong online B2B and B2C sales portal. This is a family owned business and the two companies work closely together, managed by a small team of passionate professionals.

The Position
* This is a full time position in Neutral Bay and is not suitable for those wanting to work remotely.

We seek a highly motivated person to handle phone, email and showroom enquiries/sales. This includes assisting with operations , including order processing and dispatch. In addition, you will be involved in contributing to marketing initiatives for both businesses.

This is a multi-faceted position and presents an outstanding opportunity for someone to utilise their existing customer service and and all round office skills. Ideally, you would have an interest in small business operations and experience within the beauty industry.

Job tasks and responsibilities

• Handling customer service and sales enquiries via phone and email
• Accurate processing and administration of customer orders using MYOB (training provided)
• Using an e-commerce platform to process online orders (training provided)
• Order fulfillment and dispatch including picking and packing stock from our storeroom
• Dealing with and booking couriers, assisting in stocktaking, receiving and managing stock
• Physically willing and able to lift stock/boxes up to 14kgs
• Contribute to marketing campaigns including email, social media and sales promotions

Skills and experience
• Experience in a similar position involving order processing & dispatch
• Beauty Industry experience and/or exposure is essential for this role.
• Proven experience (minimum of 3 years) in a customer service or administration support role.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Accurate numeracy skills
• Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to multitask and collaborate with the team and/or work autonomously
