We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Sales and Customer Service Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing customer accounts, and providing excellent service to both new and existing customers. This role requires a blend of strong sales abilities and customer service skills to ensure that our clients receive top-notch support while achieving company sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales:
Inward bound:
Respond to all customer enquiries by providing the customer with confidence in our products and services
Provide verbal quotes and where needed follow up with written quotes using the company ERP and sales templates.
Handle all customer enquiries to the satisfaction of the customer.
Work closely with the workshop to schedule installations and the warehouse to distribute product to customers throughout Australia.
Outward bound:
Identify sales opportunities with new customers.
Work with the GM and marketing team to strategize and grow the Powertarps sales.
Experience of working to daily, weekly and monthly KPI’s.
Customer Service:
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, ensuring prompt quoting, order taking and closing of sales opportunities.
Provide excellent customer support by addressing product or service-related questions and troubleshooting technical issues.
Handle customer complaints in a professional and empathetic manner, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions and transactions.
Follow up with customers promptly to ensure we’ve closed all possible opportunities which keep our operations team busy.
Administrative and Reporting:
Update and maintain the customer database, ensuring all information is accurate and current.
Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotional campaigns and enhance customer engagement.
Qualifications:
Education:
Tertiary Education (desirable but not mandatory)
Experience:
3+ years of sales experience in a B2B environment.
Track record of sales in B2B.
Experience in manufacturing and distribution is essential.
Experience in trucking and haulage is highly desirable.
Skills:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel as well as experience with Microsoft applications.
Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero is imperative.
Strong understanding of sales price structuring including costs and margins.
Willingness to communicate effectively with team members and external parties.

Proactive problem solver who can work independently.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
Working Conditions:
Work Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Monday to Friday.
Compensation: Range of 65-75K dependent upon experience and qualifications
Benefits: 30 days holiday (including statutory holidays)
Location: In office each day. Desirable for candidates to be flexible between western Sydney locations.
