About the role

Flood Solar is seeking a talented Solar Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team in our Melbourne office. As a Solar Sales Consultant, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our renewable energy solutions across residential and commercial customers. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to Flood Solar's mission of making clean energy accessible to all.

What you'll be doing

Engaging with prospective customers to understand their energy needs and provide tailored solar solutions

Conducting site assessments and preparing detailed proposals for solar panel installations

Educating customers on the benefits of solar energy, including cost savings and environmental impact

Negotiating and closing sales contracts with customers

Providing excellent customer service and support throughout the sales process

Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and product innovations

Collaborating with the installation team to ensure a smooth and successful project delivery

What we're looking for

Proven experience in sales, preferably in the renewable energy or home improvement industry

Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to customers

Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills

A passion for renewable energy and a desire to make a positive impact on the environment

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

Relevant qualifications or certifications in renewable energy, sales, or a related field would be highly regarded
