A well regarded, blue chip private school based in the Eastern suburbs of Sydney. They have an excellent reputation in the sector.

They are well serviced by public transport, but also have some parking in the area.

About the role

The school presently runs the Edumate suite as their school management software, which handles functions such as timetabling, communications, school calendar, reporting, billing, document management, etc. It's a critical application for the school - staff, students & parents alike.

The role centres around the support of Edumate. Typically the bulk of issues relate to data flows & SQL, but there will also be a live of functional support of the system and may also be API related integration issues.

You might also be involved in support of their learning management system (Schoolbox). but their SMS is the key piece

It's a technical role, but it's equally important the tech skills also come with a strong customer service ethic - strong communication skills and the ability to engage users & stakeholders effectively is critical.

So we're looking for:

• Strong School Management System support experience (ideally Edumate)
• Excellent communication & customer service skills
• The ability to engage with a range of stakeholders
• the ability to write SQL queries

You either need to hold a WWC check or be eligible for one.

It's a contract role running through the end of the school year. People can either join on a salaried basis or a day rate contract. The choice is yours.

There's a preference for the role to be based on site at the school campus as much as possible, but there is flexibility to WFH. The exact hybrid split will be negotiated as part of the engagement.
