About the role

This casual Audio/Visual Technician role at Comedy Lounge in Perth, WA offers the opportunity to join a vibrant and dynamic team in the Advertising, Arts & Media industry. As an Audio/Visual Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to ensure seamless audio and visual elements during live comedy performances and events.

What you'll be doing

• Set up, operate and maintain audio and visual equipment, including microphones, speakers, lighting, screens and projectors
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during performances and events
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure the technical elements complement the artistic vision
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain the working environment
• Provide excellent customer service to performers and event attendees

What we're looking for

• Demonstrated experience as an Audio/Visual Technician, preferably within the entertainment or events industry
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of audio and visual equipment and systems
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong customer service orientation and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
