We are looking for a fast typist with past audio transcription experience, preferably in the legal space.

You must have transcription equipment to hit the ground running. This includes transcription software and foot pedal. This is not negotiable.

Our business is getting increasingly busier with our main typist now working full time hours.

We have the need to hire an additional transcriptionist to assist initially with overflow. There is the potential for these hours to increase over time and for the successful candidate to step in as the main typist when they are on leave.

The role would be perfect for someone who already runs a VA business and is looking for some extra hours here and there as hours cannot be guaranteed.

Ideally, you will already be a sole trader with an ABN and work from home already.

There is no requirement for an immediate start but be someone who can be flexible to assist at the last minute when work arises.

If you use Speech Recognition software or AI technology, you are not the candidate for us.

If you are successful in moving forward to the next round, you will be asked to complete an unpaid work trial which will involve transcribing a small audio to determine quality of work and speed.
