Freelance AV work is kinda like career Tinder. Lots of options look worth a shot. Then you find out the truth about five minutes into that first shift.

You learn a lot about the others you work alongside. Do they have each others’ backs? Are they friendly and positive about their work? And you learn about the quality of tech you’re expected to work with. It all makes a big difference to your working life. We’re all about support for the techs on site. Everyone in management used to be a tech, and our entire goal is getting you clear information and the best equipment you could ask to work with. That’s why we only buy equipment brands like VuePix, Brompton, Christie, Barco, L-Acoustics, ProLights and Robe, and other gear you can trust.

We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate, detail-orientated Audio, Vision, Lighting and Online Event professionals who are well presented and are willing to get their hands dirty. Applicants must also have an approachable manner, not just with clients but with your fellow crew. We value our positive vibe and it’s what makes Scene Change what it is.

We are wanting to grow our causal team but we are not looking to fill numbers. Fitting into our culture and team environment is just as important as having the tech skills. We all need to match. If you are an applicant with heaps of experience within the Corporate Events market that is amazing but even if you are just starting out and are new to this game and have the right attitude we can teach you the rest. If you can think on your feet to solve problems under pressure, work independently or lead a close-knit team, we are looking for you.
