Multinational Engineering Services Group seek a commercially astute Group Finance Manager to build a robust financial platform to support organic and acquisitive growth.

With Blue Chip customers across Australia, North America and Europe. The business has achieved exceptional growth and is now gearing up for a strategic sale or IPO in the next three years.

Group Finance Manager
This is a broad senior finance role, reporting to the Head of Group Finance, with daily interaction with the Group CFO and finance teams in Australia, Europe and the US. As a key member of the global finance function, you will support group finance activities, including group consolidation, financial reporting, treasury, compliance, strategic planning and commercial analysis.The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, scale-up environment, is looking for broad exposure, and enjoys building fit-for-purpose finance functions.

Key areas of responsibility include:

Financial control & reporting

  • Monthly group consolidation, reporting and analysis to senior leadership and the Board.
  • Lead the annual external audit and preparation of financial statements.
  • Coordinate annual tax returns with external advisors across group entities.
  • Oversee intercompany transactions and develop transfer pricing frameworks.
  • Design and implement financial policies, controls and procedures across the group.
  • Develop and embed a risk and compliance framework.
  • Support the ongoing implementation of a new group-wide ERP system.

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Annual budget and forecasting cycles.
  • Conduct scenario analysis and support strategic decision-making.

Treasury

  • Group cashflow forecasting across the Australian and Group entities.
  • Oversee external debt facility compliance and reporting.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualification.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in senior finance roles with proven experience of managing scale/growth.
  • Strong experience in financial reporting, consolidation, tax, treasury, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Experiencing managing external audits, and external stakeholders, including lenders and advisors.
  • ERP implementation or finance systems improvement experience is a plus.

  • A strong team player who can partner closely with the Leadership Team and is passionate about building a high performing global finance function.

Remuneration
$170,000 - 190,000 + Super + Bonus
