The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Management Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Accounting, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for working with numbers and accuracy. As a Accountant, you will play a crucial role in providing financial insights, supporting payroll, AP & AR, supporting all teams across the company for strategic decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing of company financial information into Xero and Templa/HR3 (preferable)
• Reconciliation of accounts
• Attendance to Timesheets
• Processing fortnightly payroll for all employees
• Attendance to lodgement and payment of employment related liabilities each month
• Various forms of Budgeting along with the preparation of weekly management reports tracking financial performance against budget
• Maintaining cash flow forecast
• Champion Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
• Compiling the annual budget with senior management and updating

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) is highly regarded, or working towards.
• Proven experience (1-2 years) as a Management Accountant, Generalist Accountant or in a similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word.
• Strong Attention to detail and ability to work autonomously.
• A can-do, positive attitude, with no task too big or too small
• Ability to take responsibility for the role and proactively make continuous improvements for the benefit of the business.
