About the role

Join the dynamic team at Tackleworld Exmouth as a full-time Sales Assistant. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and contributing to the success of our retail store located in Exmouth, WA 6707. Interest in fishing, boating, diving, camping, spearfishing or similar required.

What you'll be doing

Delivering outstanding customer service by assisting customers, answering inquiries, and providing product recommendations

Maintaining a tidy and organized store environment, ensuring merchandise is well-presented and readily available

Restocking and replenishing inventory as needed

Accurately processing sales transactions and handling cash/payments

Collaborating with the team to achieve store sales targets and key business objectives

Providing a positive and engaging shopping experience for all customers

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer service or retail sales role, preferably in the tackle & fishing, sporting goods or outdoor equipment industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers and provide excellent service

Attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Enthusiasm for the outdoors and a passion for helping customers find the right products

Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
