Blue Sky Nursery is a busy wholesale nursery supplying both the landscape and retail markets based in North Arm on the Sunshine Coast.

We require a Nursery Sales Assistant to join our dynamic Sales team based on the Sunshine Coast at North Arm.

The Sales Assistant role is full time and based on a 38 hour week with a 3 month probationary period.

Hours are Monday 6.30 till 12.40, Tuesday to Friday 6.30 till 3.10.

The Sales Assistant position will require an applicant with excellent plant knowledge, customer service experience, excellent phone skills, a strong working knowledge of MYOB, EXCEL and WORD. Previous nursery experience or Horticultural Certification is essential.

Key position requirements:

Customer service, processing stock enquiries, quotations, sales and orders in MYOB

A good knowledge of general nursery plant species grown within industry

Sourcing plants for projects/grow ons

Participation at trade events and EXPOS

The ability to work as part of a dynamic team or individually

The ability to follow direction

The ability to multi task and work under pressure when required work

The ability to work to deadlines

Liaising with Logistics Manager/Dispatch staff/Truck Drivers and Production staff

Wages will be negotiated with the successful applicant depending on the qualifications and/or experience.

Applicants must have their own transport.
