Are you a passionate and experienced early childhood leader ready to take the next step in your career? Busy Bees at Lara is looking for a dedicated Centre Director to lead our vibrant service and inspire a team of passionate educators.

Located in a family-friendly community just outside Geelong, our beautiful centre offers high-quality early learning for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, with a strong focus on inclusion, collaboration, and play-based learning.

About the Role:

As Centre Director, you will:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the centre, ensuring high standards of education, care, and compliance

Lead, mentor and develop a team of educators and support staff

Build strong partnerships with families, the community, and internal stakeholders

Manage occupancy, rosters, budgets and regulatory compliance

Drive a culture of continuous improvement aligned with the NQS and EYLF

What We’re Looking For:

Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved)

Minimum 2+ years of leadership experience in an Early Learning Centre

Exceptional communication, leadership and organisational skills

Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework

A valid Working with Children Check (Employee), First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates
