Dedicated in developing accredited psychology and health professionals, the University of Southern Queensland’s School of Psychology and Wellbeing is renowned for its leadership in incorporating work-integrated learning and applied research in its Psychology, Counselling and Social Work undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
UniSQ is seeking a Research Fellow/Project Officer with qualifications and professional experience in social work to partner with Sunrise Way, a drug and alcohol residential rehabilitation provider, to co-develop collaborative research projects and co-design programs to integrate the latest evidence-based approaches to addiction recovery.
As an integral part of this collaboration, you will be responsible for:
- Providing field education supervision to UniSQ students on placement with the hub.
- Collaborating with Sunrise Way and the research team to develop a program of research that meets the goals of the service provider.
- Conducting research and implementing findings with the aid of students on placement.
What will help you succeed
Together with your qualification in social work you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in practice-based research
- Demonstrated experience in project management

Term: Part-time fixed-term appointment to 31 December 2027 (15 hours per week)
Salary: Total Remuneration range of $51,402 to $60,755 pa (includes salary range of $43,432 to $51,335 pa, employer superannuation contributions of 17%, and annual leave loading)
