Elliott May Lawyers is a well established, banking and finance law firm located in Milton, just outside the Brisbane CBD and close to bus routes, 2 train stations and a ferry terminal.

Our staff are proactive and energetic and enjoy working with each other and our clients. We believe we provide exceptional service and advice to our clients and are looking for a junior Receptionist to provide support to our legal team.

This is an entry level position and would suit a recent high school graduate who is looking for early exposure to a professional work environment offering mentoring and career growth opportunities. This role has arisen as our current Junior Receptionist has excelled in the position and been promoted within the company.

About the Role

The successful applicant will be required to look after the front office including answering the phone, welcoming clients and visitors, general tidying and housekeeping of kitchen and common areas and attending to a variety of administrative tasks required by the firm.

The role requires someone who enjoys working with people, and who:

• Displays a friendly, positive personality, who is courteous, and has a genuine interest in helping others
• Is well organised, pays close attention to detail and has sound computer skills
• Has a strong work ethic
• Has excellent communication skills, including an outstanding telephone manner
• Has a smart and professional appearance, and excellent personal presentation.
