About the role
OPS-1 We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pre-Analytical Operational Services Officer to join our dedicated team. In this vital role, you’ll provide high-quality customer service and care to patients while supporting specimen management and administration. You’ll be responsible for receiving, sorting, and preparing specimens, ensuring they are handled, stored, and transported according to strict protocols to support timely and accurate diagnosis. Working within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment, you’ll enter and manage patient data using laboratory information systems and respond to enquiries with professionalism and care. This role offers comprehensive training and close supervision, making it an excellent opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
OPS-2 We’re looking for a proactive and organised Operational Services Officer to support the smooth delivery of high-quality laboratory services. Working under general direction, you'll apply your practical skills and knowledge to accurately sort and accession specimens, perform data entry, and assist with specimen preparation, storage, and transport. You'll play a key role in managing internal and external customer enquiries with professionalism, while also supporting the safe and compliant dispatch of pathology specimens across local, national, and international locations in line with IATA regulations. This is a dynamic role that offers variety and the chance to make a real impact in a vital healthcare setting.

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented professional with the following key skills and experience:
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to teamwork.
- Proven ability to provide excellent customer service with confidentiality and care.

- Knowledge of Work Health and Safety, Infection Control, and professional ethics.
