About the role
Join a passionate and supportive team as a Pre-Analytical Operational Services Officer, where your dedication to patient care and precision will help shape the delivery of vital health services. In this hands-on role, you’ll provide exceptional customer service while carrying out a variety of important tasks including phlebotomy, specimen collection and handling, administrative duties, and data entry using our Laboratory Information Systems. As the first point of contact for patients and healthcare staff, your ability to manage enquiries professionally and compassionately will be key to ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary team that plays a critical role in the diagnostic process. You'll receive comprehensive training and close support as you develop your skills in managing specimens through the pre-analytical stage — from receiving and preparing samples, to ensuring proper storage and transportation. Your contribution will directly support the timely and accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients across the health system. If you’re enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and ready to grow in a dynamic healthcare environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships and support a cooperative environment.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with proven ability to prioritise tasks and perform under pressure in fast-paced settings.
