About the Role
With over 45 years of success in the poultry industry, our client knows what it takes to consistently deliver top-quality products with friendly, reliable, old-school service. They’re now looking for a Customer Service Officer & Invoicing Coordinator to join their fantastic team.

Location: Milperra, NSW (100% office-based)
Work Schedule: Full Time - Mon–Fri | 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
**Open to candidates seeking 4 days of work, with Thursdays off
Employment Status: Permanent
About You
In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring smooth daily operations by assisting with daily invoicing, handling customer enquiries, processing orders, supporting dispatch, and maintaining database records. Working closely with the Sales and Office Managers, you’ll contribute to their mission of delivering top-quality poultry products with top-tier service.
Your Key Responsibilities
Assist with daily invoicing by processing customer orders for timely dispatch.
Support the dispatch and morning operations teams with any invoicing-related queries.
Provide administrative assistance to logistics personnel as needed.
Assist with ad-hoc administrative tasks as required.
Respond to inbound queries via phone and email, including delivery times, customer requirements, and sales inquiries.
Under broad supervision from the Office Manager, support activities within the Metcash Portal (Sorted, Cross Dock, ChargeThrough).
Monitor orders as they are processed on the Sorted platform, updating the retail order sheet accordingly.
Update and review internal call lists and worksheets to ensure consistency with the Sorted platform.
Coordinate bookings for cooking demonstrations, communicating between stores and the marketing team.
Maintain and update company databases through MYOB and CRM.
Place and send purchase orders to suppliers when needed.
What We’re Looking For
✅ 3+ years of experience in customer service/invoicing
✅ Experience with Metcash or similar retail systems (Sorted, Cross Dock, ChargeThrough)
✅ Strong communication skills – liaise confidently with logistics & customers
✅ Trustworthy & detail-oriented – handling confidential information is second nature to you
✅ Proficiency in MYOB, CRM, Microsoft Word & Excel
✅ Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
